A Summary of My Past Involvement of Harp Playing at Different Facilities and on Different Occasions:
- AT 298 Tiong Bahru Road #10-05, Central Plaza, ALZEIMER DISEASES ASSOCIATION (ADA), 2017.
- One of the clients here at ADA (Dementia Singapore), got up from her seat and began to dance, when Ms Bethany played a tune that she remembered as a youth. This shows that music can access into the memory of someone with dementia. (See picture below).
- Our interactive activities included the Clients’ Participation playing the Handbells with the harp…
… and non-vigorous exercises with Paper Plates to the tune of Beethoven Symphony.
